Inktober Day 20 – Tread

You would be hard pressed to be in Ireland and not see a farm. You see one when you leave the airport, or go to Ikea, or to the beach. There are farms everywhere in Ireland because the soil is so fertile. When the soil is not so good, well, then you have sheep and cow farms. SO, you can’t have farms without big tractors, and you can’t have big tractors without big wheels, which, yep you guessed it, have big treads. So, there you are.

The railing on the side of this field is unique to the Carlow area, which are granite rails set on an angle, sitting on the angled bracket at the end of the post.
