Inktober Day 8 – Frail

For Frail I chose a Ballyknocken church in Leighlinbridge that has a pretty funny story to it. Back in the 60s or 70s, it was decided to tear the whole church down. They brought the equipment over and managed to tear down the wall and back of the church, which were frail. But the main tower, that was another story. It did not want to come down at all, and in the end, after many attempts, it was decided it was too hard and dangerous to tear it down. So, there it is, standing strong to this day. Looking at what is left, it must have been a really gorgeous church.
